This project, which was officially launched on February 27, 2024, during a ceremony held at the Convention Centre in Bhubaneswar. Mission Shakti Scheme Odisha 2024 scheme intends to support the financial independence and entrepreneurial skills of women in the state. Women who meet the eligibility requirements can also receive assistance in the form of uniforms and blazers. Women can also have interest-free loans of up to Rs 10 lakh. About Odisha Mission Shakti
To empower Odisha’s women with interest-free loans, the Odisha Mission Shakti Scheme was launched. This project aims to improve the economic status of women who are members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs). This scheme provides them with the opportunity to start or grow their businesses. It is like their first move into the business world to turn self-help groups into small enterprises. The government allocated a total sum of money (Rs 730 crore) to assist them in purchasing items like coats and uniforms for their newly established enterprises. Throughout the following five years, they hope to open 5,000 stores where these women can sell their goods.

The objective of Mission Shakti Scheme Odisha
The primary objective of Mission Shakti Scheme Odisha is to promote the empowerment of women and help them become financially independent. This scheme has been launched by the state government of Odisha for the women in the state to help them in setting up their businesses and other small enterprises. Seed money, revolving funds, and mission Shakti loans are all available to a beneficiary self-help group. The loan from Mission Shakti has no interest.
