The Odisha state government launched the Odisha CM Kisan Yojana 2024. During the presentation of the Odisha state budget, Odisha state Chief Minister Mr. Mohan Charan Majhi renamed the Kalia Yojana into CM Kisan Yojana. For the implementation of the Odisha CM Kisan Yojana 2024, the state government has outlaid a total budget of INR 1935 crore. Under this scheme, the Odisha state government will provide financial assistance and other benefits to all the financially unstable farmers of the state. Odisha CM Kisan Yojana (KALIA Yojana Revised)
On 25th July the Odisha state government introduced their fiscal budget for the financial year 2024-25. The total budget for the Odisha state government is 2.65 lakh crore with the main focus being the agriculture sector of the state. The Odisha Government will outlay a total of INR 33,919 crore in the agricultural sector. The announcement of Odisha CM Kisan Yojana was also made during the presentation of the state budget. Just like the Kalia Yojana the Odisha CM Kisan Yojana will also provide financial assistance to the farmers of Odisha state. The financial assistance will be given in two different installments to the farmer.
